Building a Foundation of Lifelong Learning

Mission / Philosophy

She is committed to creating a positive work environment as well as maintaining a state-of-the-art childhood program that is known for its excellence and innovation.

We are committed to providing high-quality care and education for young children. We believe that children have individual ways of learning about the world; they have individual preferences for things like routine or novelty, quiet or noise, independent or sociable play.  Teachers observe children to see which experience brings delight, confidence and comfort. Teachers tailor their routine, tasks and daily activities with children’s preferences in mind. Our mission will be met through an emergent curriculum and developmentally appropriate activities and play that will provide opportunities for children to revel in their accomplishments and build a foundation of lifelong learning.

Equal Opportunity & Non-Discrimination

Teachable Moments is a private, nonsectarian flexible childcare center. Enrollment is open to the public.  We do not discriminate against children or their families on the basis of their race, religion, gender, cultural heritage, political beliefs, national origin, marital status, family structure, disability or sexual orientation or any other category protected by federal, state or local law.  We welcome and encourage diversity.
